What to expect while visiting

Visiting any place can be a nervous experience. At Pacific Baptist Church we want to put your nervousness at rest and provide you with a friendly, comfortable visit. Below is some information that can assist you in your first visit at Pacific Baptist Church.

1) Finding Us

Pacific Baptist Church is located south of the 405 freeway and east of the 710 freeway. You can't miss our church at the intersection of 33rd Street and Magnolia Avenue, just south of Wardlow Road. There are two entrances. One on Magnolia Avenue and the other on 33rd Street.

2) Finding Nurseries, Classes, and Services

Although our church facilities span three buildings, finding your right class or nursery is easy. Just look at our facilities guide to help you.

3) What's the morning schedule?

There are two services (9:00 am and 11:00 am) with an hour (10:00 am) of Sunday School in between.

4) How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Pacific Baptist Church for members or guests, but our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress.

5) Are there services at other times?

Yes. We have a Sunday evening service (completely different from Sunday morning) that begins at 6:00 pm and we also meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm for a mid-week Bible study.

8. Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Pacific Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Pacific Baptist will be awesome!
